Tatiana Bulia
Tatiana Bulia moved with her family to Tbilisi in 1991 and, notwithstanding her Russian background, paints with a palette of pale oranges, blues, and yellows on a background of light neutrals, that is quintesssentially Georgian.
Graduating from the Ural State Technical University where she studied architecture and civil engineering, her passion for painting began in pre-school. But it was 1997 before she finally took the opportunity to devote her life solely to painting.
Largely self-taught, her paintings of slight female figures, still lifes and landscapes, demonstrate her eye for colour and refreshing, light touch.
